Important Guidelines for Registration: PLEASE READ! 

ALL player registration applications MUST be completed online AND paid-in-full (including any late fees) at the time of submission in order to be accepted.   Unpaid registrations are automatically deleted by the registration system.

ALL Travel Program player registrations MUST be completed online AND paid-in-full (including any late fees) before any player will be considered eligible to attend Player Evaluations/Tryouts.

ALL Adult Volunteers MUST register online as an Adult Volunteer with TYSL, Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and submit to a CORI background check before they are permitted to participate in any league-sanctioned activity.

Adult Volunteer Registration 
Head Coaches, assistant coaches and all adult volunteers for all programs  (performing any role) must register online as an Adult Volunteer with TYSL, Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) and submit to a CORI background check before they are permitted to participate in any league-sanctioned activity.   All Adult Volunteers must enter their date of birth when registering for the first time.  The DOB format is mm/dd/year.  If you did not do this, please send an email to the Registrar with your DOB, capacity you are helping, and the registrar will update the system.  TYSL Adult Volunteer validity period covers 1 "soccer year" (Fall and Spring season).  Individuals seeking to volunteer in subsequent years must re-apply accordingly.

Travel Teams:
Travel rosters are formed for Boys and Girls Teams in 10U through 14U Divisions in the fall and 10U through 18/19U in the Spring.  Rosters are selected within 45 days of the last tryout.  Number of teams and divisions selected depend on the number of players who register and try out and the number of divisions that are being supported by the Middlesex Youth Soccer League for a particular season.  All late roster additions must be approved by the Travel Director.  Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) does not allow dual rostering on MYSA affiliated teams above the age of 14U.  Travel Teams practice twice per week and play matches on Saturdays and/or Sunday depening on the Age/Grade Group.  Practice times, dates and days of the week are not guaranteed and can fluctuate depending upon season, weather, field availalability, clinic schedules, make-up dates and coach availability.

Tewksbury Intown Recreational League 
Rosters will be formed for boys and girls teams in U6 and U8 divisions, and will be announced at least two weeks before the first game of the season.  Players must register and pay all registration fees before they can be placed on a roster.   
In-Town Program Teams practice once per week and play matches on Friday evenings or Saturdays.  Practice times, dates and days of the week are not guaranteed and can fluctuate depending upon season, weather, field availalability, clinic schedules, make-up dates and coach availability.  U4 and U5 players participate in the Tiny Tykes-Tewksbury program administered by Challenger Sports.


Fees:

The single season basic registration fee is as follows: (This includes a $15 Recreation Department fee paid by TYSL to the Town of Tewksbury which helps cover maintenance for fields and town recreation facilities.)

Additional fees vary depending on the league selected and must be paid before uniforms are issued:

  • Add $35 for Recreational (U6 and U8) reversible shirts (if needed). If you have already purchased a red/white or reversible uniform, your child can use it throughout the U6 and U8 recreational levels.
  • Add $55 for Travel Team uniforms.  Travel Uniforms, generally, last several seasons before they must be re-purchased.  TYSL makes all reasonable attempts to choose uniforms that are supported by the respective manufacturers for multiple years.
  • Late Fee [$25- INTOWN, $50 - Travel] will be charged, per player registration. This date is posted on the website!  Please plan ahead in order to avoid paying late fees. TYSL is not responisible for technical difficulties related to connectivity, device incompatibility, internet downtime, lost passwords, financial institution transaction failures or other associaciated processing delays.

Payment Options

  • Pay online with a credit card (VISA , MasterCard, AMEX).

Proof of Age:  All new members to TYSL must provide a copy of their birth certificate.  Age groups are determined by the player's age on August 1 of the year of the fall season, as mandated by the US Youth Soccer Association.  Players with an August birthday can play up to the next age group at the parents choice.  Players move up to the next age group in the fall.

Special Travel Requirements:

  • All candidates must register using the travel registration and pay all registration and (if applicable) late fees prior to attending tryouts.
  • Players MUST attend at least one travel tryout each season or obtain a waiver from the Travel Director.
  • If a player cannot be rostered on a travel team, all fees will be refunded in full.
