TYSL is looking for Referees of all ages (child and adult) for the 2021 Travel league with no prior experience required. If you are at least 14-years old, you are eligible to take the Grassroots Referee training and test. TYSL will reimburse you for the certification class and have the chance to earn at least $17.50 per game as an Assistant Referee and as you gain experience you would have a chance to become a Center Referee and earn up to $40 per game. Games are held on Saturday’s for U10, U12 and U14 and for adult referee’s there is opportunity to referee on Sunday’s for U16. Referees typically work 2-3 games per week for 1.5 hours per game, however, the position is flexible, you just need to update availability in the system if you are not available to referee games.
