TYSL is looking for Referees of all ages (child and adult) for the 2023 fall season.  No prior experience required.

U8 In-Town Referees
If you are at least 12-years old, you are eligible to referee U8 In-Town games on Friday nights. Pay is $15 per game. Only training required is reviewing U8 rules sent via email and then 20-minute field session prior to your first game to referee. Shirt and whistle provided. Travel Referees
If you are at least 14-years old, you are eligible to take the Grassroots Referee training and test. TYSL will reimburse you for the certification class.  Referees have the chance to earn at least $22.50 per game as an Assistant Referee. As you gain experience you have a chance to become a Center Referee and earn up to $60 per game. Games are held on Saturday’s for U10, U12 and U14 for MYSA travel and would be eligible to referee club games as well. Referees typically work 2-3 games per week for 1.5 hours per game, however, the position is flexible, you just need to update availability in the system if you are not available to referee games.
